Think about this for a minute or two: in the "Statement of Ownership" of the new Spin Magazine, it states that for the most recent publication as of the filing date there were 164,798 copies of Spin magazine that WERE NOT DISTRIBUTED. They count distributed as ordered, subscribed to, or given away. So they printed 738,147 copies of that worthless piece of shit, but they couldn't even GIVE AWAY 164,798 copies. Realize that the average indie magazine doesn't even print a quarter of what Spin throws away, and that the average indie cd release wouldn't even make a dent in 164,798 and the way corporate magazines run starts to look scary. Nearly 200,000 copies of a 120+ page magazine are destroyed EVERY MONTH just by Spin.
